By accessing this website or contacting us to request a session with Affordable Therapy Services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and users of affordabletherapyservices.ca.

About Our Services

Affordable Therapy Services connects Ontario residents with low-cost online counselling and psychotherapy. Sessions are delivered by student therapists working toward their qualification, supervised by a Registered Psychotherapist. Our service model has the following characteristics:

• Online only: All sessions take place through a secure video platform
• Ontario residents: Services are available to individuals located in Ontario, Canada
• Supervised care: Student therapists are supervised by a Registered Psychotherapist
• General support: We support concerns such as anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationships, self-worth, and emotional regulation

Our pricing is transparent, with no hidden fees. Current session rates are:

• Individual therapy: $50 per session
• Couples therapy: $70 per session
• Adolescent therapy: $50 per session
• Group therapy: $40 per session
• Sliding scale: Reduced rates are available for students, low-income individuals, and families who need them

Payment is arranged directly with us once your session is confirmed. Fees are subject to change; any changes will be reflected on our website and communicated before your next session.

Affordable Therapy Services is not a crisis or emergency service and cannot provide immediate or urgent support. If you are in crisis or believe you or someone else is in danger, please use one of the following resources:

• Call 911 for immediate emergencies
• Call or text 988 for the Suicide Crisis Helpline (Canada)
• Go to your nearest hospital emergency department

• Provide accurate information when booking and during sessions
• Be located in Ontario at the time of your session
• Attend sessions in a private, quiet space with a stable internet connection
• Treat your therapist and staff with respect
• Use the service for its intended purpose and not for any unlawful activity
